Canberra Centre
Opened by Sir Robert Menzies in 1963, the Canberra Centre introduced a new concept to Australian retail as the first fully enclosed shopping mall. Over more than 50 years there have been several major renovations, including the $500 million redevelopment in 2007 involving JML.
How we helped the client
Scope of Work
JML was awarded the design, supply and installation of all glass elements of the expansion the major shopping mall in the ACT. Our scope includes the glazing of all of the shop fronts, the point supported glass walls to the glass display boxes and the glass balustrades.
